Luca Pasquini (b. 2004) is a NYC based composer & pianist. Luca is interested in writing for multiple genres of music from classical to film to jazz. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music at the NYU Steinhardt School, studying under Justin Dello Joio. Luca’s music has received awards from the likes of ASCAP Morton Gould, National YoungArts, National Young Composer’s Challenge, Marvin Hamlisch International Music Awards, the National Federation of Music Clubs and more. Originally from Denver, Colorado, he is a recent graduate of Denver School of the Arts and the Denver Young Artists Orchestra, privately studying piano with Brad Marcotte and composition with Leanna Kirchoff. Luca has attended composition programs at Boston University’s Tanglewood Institute, the Atlantic Music Festival and Boston Conservatory at Berklee’s High School Composition Intensive.
