Maximus Gurath is a cellist from Sioux Falls, SD. He has received top honors for his playing from the South Dakota Symphony Concerto Competition, the Lucy Weed Concerto Competition, the Interlochen Arts Camp Concerto Competition, and the Schubert Club Concerto Competition. Additionally, he was featured on the radio program From the Top, having won the Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship. He has attended Interlochen Arts Academy for the past 2 years studying with Patrick Owen.

FUN FACT: Max loves to play basketball, and is a huge Star Wars fan and a die hard Packers fan.
